Already, USA citizens are lining up in the cigar shops of Cuba and purchasing Cuban cigars to bring back to the USA after the December 17, 2014 announcement by President Obama that $100 worth of Cuban cigars or alcohol can be legally brought into the USA by licensed travelers to Cuba (these items can not be resold). Yes, Cuba does have significant competitors in today's cigar market; notably, Central America and the Dominican Republic but a freshly rolled Cuban cigar with aged Havana Club rum is a hard combination to beat.
